Celebrities.... In My Eyes.

I find it amazing how many people get to meet celebrities. It's an awesome thing getting to meet people you see on tv and online and hear on the radio. It's a good feeling meeting someone who inspires you. But I seem to have a different idea of who celebrities are.

For me, that happened when I met Cady Groves. Yeah, she's a celebrity to me. In my eyes, she's one of the greatest people I know because of how honest and true she is.

I've not met many people. I can tell you I've met Allstar Weekend and I'm sure you've heard of them if you have ever watched disney. It was a nice experience, but definitely not my favorite. It pales in comparison to other people. I've met tons of bands that are nowhere near that big and those are the experiences I'm most excited about. Sparks the Rescue is full of a bunch of awesome guys who love what they do. Cash Cash is exactly the same thing. I've had the privelege to be a goofball around Alex from STR and Alex from CC as well. It was a great experience.

Then, I got to meet Stephen Jerzak. Definitely one of the top most memorable things. I don't know exactly why I care so much about some boy that's gonna make it big one day. But maybe it's because when I first heard about him, nobody else had. He's been working so hard for success and I see it's paying off. He's truly someone who inspires me. I also got to meet Since Forever. Don't laugh at me. They're definitely some of the greatest guys I know. They are full of love and care about those who listen to their music. They love their fans, no matter how small that fan number is. That's truly inspiring.

I'd also like to bring up another great band, Skyhook. I haven't really been a fan for long. But that doesn't stop the amount of respect I have for them. They are full of faith and do everything for God. Which is amazing. I'm proud to say I'm a fan of their music.

Last but not least, I'm going to get a little mushy I guess. There's another band I'd like to talk about: Details Details. Who most of you know as Seth. He's pretty much a one-man band. But he has truly been a blessing to me. Nobody understands that, but he's changed things for me that nobody else ever could have. I consider him a wonderful friend. He is the greatest guy I know and I don't say that lightly. He matters to me far more than any other person could (besides family of course haha).

My favorite celebrities don't make millions in dollars. They make millions in love.

I'm not saying those who made it big aren't amazing too. Because they are. It shows that they were able to relate to millions of people,even if I don't like them all that much. Somebody's gotta keep in the spotlight for the magazines to stay in business. I have my share of favorite real time celebrities: Ashton Kutcher, Johnny Depp, etc. but none of them compare to those "ordinary" people I've listed above.

All I'm saying is that it doesn't matter what others think. The people that inspire you can be someone as famous as Michael Jackson to someone like your grandmother. They all amount to the same thing in my eyes. They're amazing people to YOU. Which is what matters.
